Gordon Ramsay 'in talks to revive Hell's Kitchen in UK'

ITV is reportedly in talks with Gordon Ramsay about bringing back Hell's Kitchen in the UK.

ITV is reportedly in talks with Gordon Ramsay about bringing back Hell's Kitchen for a new series.

The reality show first aired in 2004 and saw Ramsay train a group of celebrities to work in the kitchen of a pop-up restaurant.

The hot-tempered chef left after just one series but went on to front a hugely-popular version of the show in the US, which has now run for 18 seasons.

"He's always wanted to bring Hell's Kitchen back to British TV and he wouldn't want anyone else to be fronting its revival," a source told The Sun.

"Despite only hosting one series in the UK, it's one of the shows with which he is most closely associated, mainly because his notorious temper produced some of its best moments.

"Despite Gordon making life a misery for many of the celebrities, famous faces are likely to be clamouring to sign up."

The UK version of the show last aired in 2009 with Marco Pierre White in Ramsay's role.
