Donald Trump releases a four-minute video from hospital in the US, where he is battling coronavirus.

US President Donald Trump has released a fresh video from hospital as he continues to battle coronavirus.

The 74-year-old was admitted to the Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland on Friday afternoon, hours after revealing that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

Reports over the weekend have claimed that Trump received oxygen support prior to his hospitalisation, although his medical team have insisted that he is doing well and the President himself said that he is "much better" in the video published on Saturday.

"I came here, wasn't feeling so well," he said in the four-minute clip. "I feel much better now. We're working hard to get me all the way back.

"We're going to beat this coronavirus or whatever you want to call it and we're going to beat it soundly."
