Courteney Cox binge-watching 'Friends' during coronavirus lockdown

Courteney Cox reveals that she is spending her time in lockdown watching back-to-back episodes of Friends.

Friends star Courteney Cox has admitted that she is binge-watching the show to help pass the time during the coronavirus lockdown.

The iconic sitcom ran for 10 seasons on NBC between 1994 and 2004, with 236 episodes produced, and remains one of the most popular shows in the world in the streaming age.

Cox, who played Monica Geller on the show, revealed in a webcam appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she couldn't remember filming most of the episodes.

"I don't remember even being on the show," she said. "I have such a bad memory. I remember obviously loving everybody there and having fun and I remember certain times in my life that I was there, but I don't remember episodes.

"I decided during this time, you know people love the show so much, I decided to binge watch Friends. I just started season one. It's really good!"

The six-strong cast recently revealed that they had agreed to reunite for a one-off unscripted special for new streaming service HBO Max, although the coronavirus pandemic has delayed filming until later in the year.
