Brigitte Nielsen pays tribute to "very unique" Jackie Stallone

Brigitte Nielsen posts a tribute to her former mother-in-law Jackie Stallone following her death at the age of 98.

Brigitte Nielsen has paid tribute to former mother-in-law Jackie Stallone following her death at the age of 98.

The pair were responsible for one of the most iconic moments in Celebrity Big Brother history in 2005 when Stallone entered the house, much to the surprise of Nielsen.

"Oh my god, Jackie," she exclaimed, prompting Stallone to reply nonchalantly: "Yeah... Jackie."

After news of Stallone's death came through, Nielsen posted a recent picture of the pair together alongside the message: "Extremely strong, full of energy and very unique woman under so many aspects, till the very end.

"Emotions are running through me all because now you're gone and I didn't get to say goodbye.

"You'll be surely missed. Rest in Peace dear Jackie."

Neilsen was married to Stallone's son, action hero Sylvester Stallone, between 1985 and 1987.
