The Wanted's Tom Parker reveals terminal brain tumour has shrunk

The Wanted singer Tom Parker shares a positive update in his battle against a brain tumour.

Tom Parker has revealed that his brain tumour has seen a "significant reduction" in size thanks to his medical treatment.

The 32-year-old star of The Wanted revealed in October that he had been diagnosed with a stage four glioblastoma - a terminal condition which currently has no cure.

The singer began immediate treatment through the NHS and shared a positive update on social media today, writing: "SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION. These are the words I received today and I can't stop saying them over and over again.

"I had an MRI scan on Tuesday and my results today were a significant reduction to the tumour and I am responding well to treatment. Everyday I'm keeping on the fight to shrink this bastard!

"I can't thank our wonderful NHS enough. You're all having a tough time out there but we appreciate the work you are all doing on the front line."

He added: "This journey is a rollercoaster that's for sure. Today is a fucking good day."

Just weeks after his diagnosis, Parker's wife Kelsey gave birth to their second a child, a baby boy named Bodhi.
