Madonna re-teams with producer Stuart Price to work on her 15th studio album, due for release in 2025.

Madonna has begun working on her 15th studio album in London, it has emerged.

The Queen of Pop, 66, last put out a record in 2019 - the concept album Madame X - but is now planning to release new material in 2025 in collaboration with producer Stuart Price.

The pair previously worked together on her acclaimed 2005 album Confessions On A Dance Floor and reunited last year when she appointed him as her musical director for The Celebration Tour.

A source told The Sun: "Stuart was credited with helping Madonna return to form with their Confessions album, so for her to start working again with him is hugely exciting.

"That record was incredible and Madonna is excited about what they can come up with.

"It has been five years since she released Madame X, which was a concept album and Madonna is ready to put down some new tunes.

"Working with Stu on her tour reignited the spark. She has fire in her belly and cannot wait to get started."

Madonna is currently on her longest break between studio albums since she debuted with the eponymous Madonna in 1983.
