Jonas Brothers reunion dropped?

The Jonas Brothers reportedly shelve plans for a new album and Las Vegas residency.

The Jonas Brothers have reportedly dropped plans to release a new album after the coronavirus pandemic brought things to a halt last year.

The trio - Nick Jonas, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas - reunited in 2019 after a six-year absence and had a hit single with 'Sucker', also releasing a fifth studio album.

Last spring the group were primed to start work on another new record, and had plans for a Las Vegas residency, but according to The Sun, they have now decided to focus on solo projects for the time being.

"The Jonas Brothers' reunion is effectively over for now. They had an album ready to go and were about to announce it last March but then the pandemic happened and everything was postponed," a source told the newspaper.

"Since then they've all been working on their own projects and they feel like they've moved on from that music.

"There's been no big falling out this time, but realistically it will be a while before they do music as a trio again."

Over the weekend Nick announced plans to relaunch his solo career, starting with a new single later this week.
