Daniel Radcliffe discusses masturbating monkey on Harry Potter

Daniel Radcliffe recalls encountering a "relentlessly" masturbating monkey on the Harry Potter set.

Daniel Radcliffe has recalled filming scenes with a "relentlessly" masturbating monkey during production of the Harry Potter franchise.

Speaking to the Hot Ones YouTube series, the 31-year-old discussed filming the 'transfiguration' scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, with around 60 live animals being required on set.

"There were a lot of animals. They must have had upwards of 60," he said.

"I don't imagine they were often all on set together, but definitely in that scene, in the transfiguration classroom, there was a monkey of some kind in a cage that did start jerking off relentlessly.

"But generally, the animals were very well behaved. Although I think Rupert [Grint] got peed on by a bat at one point."

Harry Potter ranks as one of the most lucrative film franchises of all time, with the eight movies in the series bringing in a combined $7.7 billion (£5.7 billion) at the worldwide box office.
