Mel Sykes will reportedly be part of the lineup for the next series of Celebrity MasterChef.
The new run of the cookery contest is currently being filmed under coronavirus-safe conditions with rumoured contestants including Katie Price, Joe Swash, Dion Dublin and Megan McKenna.
According to The Sun, 50-year-old TV presenter Sykes, who has hosted multiple cookery shows and segments in the past, is the latest addition to the group.
"Mel is a class signing for this year's show," a source told the newspaper. "Not only does she bring a bit of glamour to the lineup, Mel also has a wicked sense of humour and isn't afraid to take risks during the competition.
"Mel has got a lot to prove after spending so much time with some of the world's best chefs.
"Cooking is her passion and she absolutely loves nothing more than rustling up a feast for her family and friends.
"But MasterChef is different and she knows she'll have to pull out all the stops to impress. Mel cannot wait to get started."
Celebrity MasterChef will air on BBC One later this year.
