Love Island's Arabella turns down Niall Horan

Love Island star Arabella Chi claims that Niall Horan slid into her DMs but she rejected him because of his height.

Love Island star Arabella Chi has claimed that she has turned down advances from Niall Horan because he is too short.

The 28-year-old appeared on last summer's edition of the ITV2 dating show but lasted just one week in the villa before being dumped from the island.

After the show Chi started dating Wes Nelson - contestant in 2018 - but the pair split last month, apparently prompting a stream of men - including 5ft 8in One Direction singer Horan - to slide into her DMs.

"Niall slid into my DMs when I started dating Wes, and immediately after we split," Chi told The Sun. "I texted a friend and said, 'that didn't take him long.'

"Normally I love an Irish accent but Niall just isn't my type - and I am 5ft 10in. He came across as a complete gentleman. But when it comes to love he's not for me.

"I wouldn't think, 'Oh well I am going to message him because he's Niall from One Direction'."

Horan's previous girlfriends include Hailee Steinfeld and Ellie Goulding.
