Love Island hosts Laura Whitmore, Iain Stirling expecting first child

Love Island's Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling reveal that they are expecting their first child together in early 2021.

Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore and narrator Iain Stirling have revealed that they are expecting their first child together.

Earlier this week it emerged that the couple, who have been together more than three years, got married in a small secret ceremony in Ireland a month ago.

Now Whitmore has revealed that she has also been concealing a pregnancy, successfully keeping it hidden while appearing as a new team captain on Celebrity Juice over the last few months.

In a post on Instagram, she wrote: "I want to now share good news as it's our news to share - and I'm gonna be honest it's starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control.

"Iain and I are expecting a baby early 2021. It's been hard to keep such happy news quiet.

"Especially the times when I've had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.

"I wasn't hungover like everyone thought. In fact I was completely sober filming the entire series of Celeb Juice, which is quite the accolade!

"We'd appreciate our privacy respected but just wanted to spread some love and a reminder of the beauty of life."

Whitmore's early 2021 due date suggests that she will be free to film the new series of Love Island, which is due to begin early next Summer on ITV2.
