Stephen Graham swaps Line of Duty for Peaky Blinders

Line of Duty star Stephen Graham joins the cast of Peaky Blinders for its upcoming sixth series.

Line of Duty's Stephen Graham has joined the cast of Peaky Blinders for its upcoming sixth series.

The 46-year-old appeared in the last series of the BBC spy drama as Detective Sergeant John Corbett, who was working undercover as leader of an organised crime group.

Peaky Blinders was due to begin filming its new run this month but production was abruptly halted due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking to The Sun, Graham revealed: "I was supposed to be starting Peaky Blinders but that has been put on hold indefinitely. My agent spent a lot of time putting that together."

Graham's other credits include the This Is England series, Boardwalk Empire and Martin Scorsese's The Irishman.
