Jessie J, Paul Merson 'lined up for I'm A Celebrity'

Singer Jessie J and former Arsenal forward Paul Merson are reportedly in talks for ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Singer Jessie J and football pundit Paul Merson are the latest names linked with ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The reality show is on course to go ahead as usual in the Australian bush this November, with additional coronavirus safety measures - including mandatory quarantines for the contestants - being put into place on the production.

According to The Sun, ITV are now deep into negotiations with potential celebrity contestants and are working to convince 'Price Tag' singer Jessie J that she should appear.

"Jessie's been offered good money but isn't sure that the show is for her. She is keen to put her music first," a source told the newspaper.

Of former Arsenal and England forward Merson, the insider added: "Paul is really keen to relaunch his TV career and thinks this is the best way to do it after he's seen what it has done for his mate Harry Redknapp, but he needs it to be worth his while and is negotiating for a top price."

Other celebs tipped to appear include former Strictly pro AJ Pritchard, Liverpool legend John Barnes, Tiger King's Carole Baskin and ex-Coronation Street actress Lucy Fallon.
