Personal finance expert Martin Lewis is confirmed for a guest hosting stint on Good Morning Britain at the end of the month.

Personal finance guru Martin Lewis has been confirmed as a guest co-host of Good Morning Britain later this month.

The breakfast show has been without a permanent co-host for Susanna Reid since Piers Morgan quit in March, and she has since been joined by a series of guests, including Alastair Campbell and Richard Madeley.

Lewis, 49, will be in the hotseat from June 28 to June 30, having previously worked on the show as its regular finance expert.

"For 15 years I loved answering questions on Good Morning Britain, now I'm stoked about getting the chance to ask them," said Lewis.

"While I hope to set the agenda on key consumer issues like scams and the financially excluded, I'm also up for the challenge of spreading my wings on all subjects.

"And when it comes to holding power to account, I always play fair with a straight bat but that doesn't stop me swinging it hard."

A permanent replacement for Morgan is expected to be announced by September.
