Listen: The seven contenders of Melodifestivalen 2021 semi-final 1

Listen to snippets from the first seven contenders in this year's Melodifestivalen.

Melodifestivalen is back this weekend as Sweden begins the hunt for an act to represent them at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.

Last year's winners, The Mamas, were unable to go on to compete after the 2020 contest was cancelled by coronavirus but they will be returning to give it another shot later in the competition.

On Saturday night the first seven contenders take to the MelFest stage, with two going automatically through to the grand final and two more being put through to the 'second chance' show.

Jessica Andersson: 'Horizon'

Paul Rey: 'The Missing Piece'

Arvingarna: 'Tänker inte alls gå hem'

Nathalie Brydolf: 'Fingerprints'

Danny Saucedo: 'Dandi dansa'

Melfest airs on Saturday night from 7pm UK / 8pm CET via SVT Play.
