Sky has announced a five-year extension to its agreement with Formula 1, keeping the broadcaster as the home of the sport in the UK and Ireland until 2029.
The deal, which also sees Sky in Germany and Italy retain rights until 2027, ensures that the Sky Sports Formula 1 channel - launched in 2012 - will continue to broadcast every race of every season live in Ultra HD quality, in addition to Formula 2 and Formula 3 races.
From next season Sky will launch improvements to its popular multi-screen feature, allowing viewers to select the on-board camera of whichever driver they like and track them around the grid.
F1 president Stefano Domenicali said: "We are incredibly proud of our long-term partnership with Sky, and we are delighted to announce that we will continue working together until 2029, a very important commitment from Sky.
"Since the beginning of our relationship in 2012 we have both strived to bring the excitement, emotion, and drama of Formula 1 to our traditional fans while engaging new and more diverse audiences.
"Formula 1 has seen huge growth in recent years, and I can't think of a better partner to continue to reach our fans with dedicated, expert and in-depth coverage.
"Sky not only brings fans live coverage but a range of behind-the-scenes access and content that brings F1 to life. We are hugely excited about the future of the partnership and the journey of Formula 1."
Average race viewership on Sky Sports F1 this season is up to an impressive 1.7 million viewers in the UK and Ireland, with four of the channel's five top-rated races in history all taking place this year.
