STV has inked a deal with Sky to make its on-demand service available across the UK via Sky Q.
The news means that hundreds of hours of shows on the STV Player will be watchable by a nationwide audience - including US dramas The Bridge and Gracepoint, Irish series Striking Out and Aussie series The Slap, Janet King and Devil's Dust.
"This extension of our partnership with Sky, to include UK-wide devices and NOW TV, considerably broadens the availability of the STV content to millions of new homes," said Richard Williams, MD of digital at STV.
"2020 has been a year of significant growth for STV Player and we're delighted to now offer our impressive catalogue of content to viewers across all major platforms on a UK wide basis."
Content from the STV Player can be accessed through the 'On Demand' section of the Sky Q menu.
