Court TV to relaunch in UK on September 8

Court TV sets Tuesday, September 8 as the date for its official relaunch in the UK.

Court TV has been added to the Sky EPG ahead of its official relaunch in the UK next Tuesday, September 8.

The US-based channel broadcasts live coverage of major court proceedings in addition to live news and discussion programming.

Upcoming events on the channel include the live trial of Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis police officer charged with the murder of George Floyd, and a season of programming to mark the 25th anniversary of OJ Simpson's trial.

The station first launched in 1991, eventually morphing into truTV in 2008, but last year Court TV was relaunched with its original format and original presenter Vinnie Politan.

Court TV has now joined Sky on channel 179 with a looping promotional preview ahead of regular programming starting next week.
