Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea's Tammy Abraham but are not prepared to pay £40m to bring the England international to the Emirates Stadium.
The 23-year-old is expected to leave the Blues this summer in search of regular action, and Arsenal are said to be one of a number of clubs interested in his signature.
According to The Express, the Gunners are willing to meet Abraham's wage demands - £125,000 a week - but the North London outfit are being put off by Chelsea's £40m valuation.
The report claims that the striker is likely to leave the Blues on an initial loan deal this summer, but any potential suitor would have to commit to a permanent deal during next summer's transfer window.
Aston Villa and West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in Abraham, who scored 12 times in 32 appearances for Thomas Tuchel's side during the 2020-21 campaign.
Arsenal will allegedly have to move both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah on this summer in order to complete a deal for the Chelsea forward.
