Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Arsenal could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Leicester City.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be working with a threadbare attack for Saturday's Premier League trip to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City.

As well as Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus, the Gunners have now lost Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz to hamstring injuries; the latter is expected to miss the rest of the season.

Having gambled on a quiet January - a true act of folly - the visitors' attacking options are now as follows; Ethan Nwaneri, Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling, Nathan Butler-Oyedeji and Ismeal Kabia.

At least until Martinelli or Saka are back, the Nwaneri-Trossard-Sterling front three could very well be seen from the first whistle in every game for the Gunners, who at least have fewer concerns elsewhere.

Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard should all return from Dubai fit and raring to go, as will centre-backs Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba, who were both run ragged by Alexander Isak in last week's EFL Cup exit to Newcastle United.

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Jurrien Timber should also reprise their roles in front of first-choice goalkeeper David Raya, although there is hope that Ben White might make his first matchday squad of 2025.

However, the same cannot be said for Takehiro Tomiyasu, whom Arsenal are supposedly considering sending for a knee operation amid his perpetual injury struggles this season.

Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Nwaneri, Trossard, Sterling
