Sunday's Serie A predictions including AC Milan vs. Lazio

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including AC Milan vs. Lazio.

Monza vs. Torino (Sunday, 11.30am)

Serie A's bottom club Monza will try to spark an unlikely escape from relegation on Sunday, when they face mid-table Torino.

While the Brianzoli were beaten again last weekend, Toro tamed AC Milan and improved their prospects of a top-half finish.

We say: Monza 0-1 Torino

Monza have registered fewer touches in the opposition box than any other side in Serie A this season, while Torino rank 17th.

It could be a cagey encounter, then, with the injury-hit hosts hoping to grimly grind out at least one point; however, Toro have recruited well and should have too much quality.

Bologna vs. Cagliari (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Fresh off ending a 17-match winless league run against AC Milan, Bologna welcome 15th-placed Cagliari to Stadio Renato Dall'Ara in Sunday's Serie A action, keen to notch a fifth consecutive home success.

The comeback 2-1 victory over the Rossoneri took Vincenzo Italiano's men into sixth, the final European spot in Italy's top flight, and the Emilians aim to consolidate their position against one of the division's worst travellers in this weekend's 27th round.

We say: Bologna 3-1 Cagliari

While Cagliari have fired blanks in consecutive away games, Bologna's failure to keep clean sheets in five of their last six matches on home soil suggests that both teams could score at the Dall'Ara on Sunday.

Nevertheless, Italiano's men are backed to notch maximum points to record a fifth top-flight triumph on home soil, improving their ongoing five-match undefeated sequence in front of their supporters in 2025.

Genoa vs. Empoli (Sunday, 2.00pm)

After pulling off a midweek giant-killing to reach the cup semi-finals, Empoli will aim to take that momentum into their Serie A survival fight when they visit Genoa on Sunday.

The Azzurri may head for Stadio Ferraris following a shock Coppa Italia win over Juventus, but they were thumped in the league last weekend; meanwhile, their hosts are fighting for a top-half finish.

We say: Genoa 2-0 Empoli

Genoa are a stable side under Patrick Vieira, with no worries of relegation to concern them between now and the end of the season.

By contrast, Empoli have serious issues at both ends of the pitch: they have conceded the most shots in Serie A this season, and only rock-bottom Monza have attempted fewer.

Roma vs. Como (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Still unbeaten in Serie A this year, resurgent Roma will host much-improved Como on Sunday evening, when the clubs clash at Stadio Olimpico.

The Giallorossi have gone 10 league games without defeat and recently progressed to the Europa League's last 16, while their visitors inched further away from danger by beating title contenders last week.

We say: Roma 2-1 Como

In the third of four straight home fixtures, Roma can edge out their ambitious visitors, who have invested heavily and now pose a threat to any Serie A side.

The hosts have both found some rhythm up front and conceded the fewest goals this year, so grand master Ranieri should defeat relative rookie Fabregas.

AC Milan vs. Lazio (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Both without a win in three matches, AC Milan and Lazio will look to get their campaigns back on track when they meet in Serie A's Sunday night contest.

The two top-four contenders have ground to make up if they are to qualify for next season's Champions League, so neither can afford to slip up at San Siro.

We say: AC Milan 2-2 Lazio

Satisfying neither side, these teams could draw for the second time this season, allowing others to gain an advantage in the race for European qualification.

While Lazio seem more united than Milan, both have defensive flaws, so there could be multiple goals in an entertaining stalemate.
