ITV's coverage of England's goalless draw with Slovenia in the Euros drew a peak of more than 15 million viewers last night, early ratings figures show.
The result meant that Gareth Southgate's men finished top of their group, albeit with three uninspiring displays that saw them score just two goals en route to the knockout stages.
According to figures provided by the broadcaster, the peak audience - comprised of people watching live on ITV1/STV and streaming via ITVX - was 15.4 million, with an average of 14.5 million across all devices during the match itself.
The overall coverage, which aired between 6.45pm and 10.45pm, stood at an impressive 9.2 million.
Ratings figures only account for viewers in household settings, so the many millions more who watched in pubs, bars and clubs are not included in the final tally.
