ITV has unveiled a slew of returning and new gameshows for its autumn schedule, headlined by brand new episodes of The Chase with a brand new chaser.
With the TV industry having been heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, the broadcaster has turned to gameshows as a fast, cheap and COVID-safe way of filling the schedules.
Popular teatime quiz show The Chase has been stuck on repeats since March 23 but is expected to return with new episodes - and new chaser Darragh Ennis - in September.
Also back in the daytime schedule is Ben Shephard's Tipping Point and a rebooted Supermarket Sweep with Rylan Clark-Neal, which will be stripped over five weeks and include six celebrity editions.
Omid Djalili is to host a new show for teatime, Winning Combination, which will see contestants combine to win a cash prize equivalent a random four-digit number.
Phillip Schofield will host The Million Pound Cube - including a celebrity edition - and 5 Gold Rings, while Stephen Mulhern also has two gameshows in the schedule, Celebrity Catchphrase and Rolling In It.
Family Fortunes will return to primetime with Gino D'Acampo as host and there will be a new stripped run of Jeremy Clarkson's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, with the 'Ask The Audience' lifeline being replaced with a second 'Phone A Friend'.
A second series of Beat The Chasers is also expected following its successful debut run earlier this year, although it has yet to be announced by the broadcaster.
