Spitting Image release first look at Priti Patel puppet

Spitting Image release a first look at their take on home secretary Priti Patel.

Spitting Image have released an image of their take on Priti Patel ahead of the show's return next month.

The iconic satirical sketch show, which uses caricature puppets to rib the politicians and celebrities of the day, is being revived by streaming service BritBox for a new series this autumn.

The puppet version of home secretary Patel - known for her tough demeanour - presents her as a vampiric character with fanged teeth, harsh eyebrows and a full countess costume.

The show has previously released pictures of the likes of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, foreign secretary Dominic Raab and Prince Andrew and is planning to send up more than 50 famous faces overall.

New episodes of Spitting Image will be released on BritBox every Saturday starting October 3.
