Mel C to replace Paloma Faith on The Voice Kids

Mel C will replace Paloma Faith on the next series of The Voice Kids, it is confirmed.

Mel C has been announced as a brand new judge on The Voice Kids for its next series this Christmas.

The Spice Girls singer will replace Paloma Faith, who is pregnant with her second child, and take a chair alongside returning judges will.i.am, Danny Jones and Pixie Lott.

"I've always been a huge fan of The Voice so I am super excited to be a coach on The Voice Kids this year," said Mel C. "I can't wait to get in one of those big red chairs and Spice things up!"

Pixie Lott added: "It's great to be heading back into the studio for a new series of The Voice Kids.

"I am the biggest Spice Girls fan, they were the first concert I ever went to, so it's such a thrill to have Melanie C joining the show too, upping the level of girl power even more!"

Emma Willis has also been confirmed to return as host.
