The long-awaited unscripted reunion episode of Friends will reportedly be shot in August after being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The episode, which features all six original cast members, was originally due to be filmed in March before launching on US streaming service HBO Max last month.
As a result of the coronavirus shutdown it had been reported that the special could be delayed until 2021, but co-creator Martha Kauffman has now revealed a target date of August.
"We are hoping to be able to shoot in August, if all is well and there is no early second wave and the studio is open," she told The Wrap.
"If everything is in place and we understand all the protocols and we can still make a good show, we'll be shooting it some time, mid-to-late August."
The news means that the episode could now be released some time in October or November.
