Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson explains Uber ride with ex

Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson defends his decision to share an Uber ride with his ex-girlfriend.

Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson has said that it was "a snap decision" to share a cab with his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Watson.

The current series of the long-running E4 reality show has seen Sam's current girlfriend Zara McDermott struggle to cope with his closeness to ex Tiff - and in tonight's episode, things come to a head.

"Basically me and Tiff shared an Uber," Sam told the Daily Mail. "And that's been f**king annoying! I bumped into her on a night out. I was training for the marathon at the time, so I wasn't drinking. We have lots of the same friends and so I just thought 'now's a good time to have that chat with her'.

"We chatted for about half an hour and then I said I needed to head home and she suggested we share an Uber. I thought, 'is it odd if we do that or is it more odd if I say no to it?'

"It was just a snap decision. You can't win either way. If you say no, she might think I'm bitter. If I say yes, people might start thinking there's still feelings there."

The series finale of Made In Chelsea airs tonight at 9pm on E4.
