The family of Luca Bish has put his subdued entrance on Love Island All Stars last night down to nerves.
The 25-year-old ex-fishmonger was one of 13 former Islanders to return to the show last night - several years on from his first appearance, which saw him couple up with Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen.
Their relationship lasted just a few months in the outside world, however, and in last night's episode he remarked that it had "lasted three months too long".
Bish was later coupled up with Olivia Hawkins by a viewer vote, but his downbeat appearance caused some concern among fans, with one writing: "I really hope Luca is ok. He didn't seem himself tonight! X"
A reply on Bish's Instagram account, which is being managed by his family, said: "Sooo many of these. Before he flew out he was sooo nervous (which is bloody out of character) and I think those nerves were still there a little.
"He's the life and soul of every room and once he gets to know everyone over the next couple of days, he'll be back out of his shell."
Love Island All Stars continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
