A Welsh rugby player and a model influencer are reportedly the first two contestants to have been signed up for the new series of Love Island.
With the dating show now just weeks away from beginning, producers are thought to have settled on an initial lineup of Islanders to enter the villa on day one and rumoured participants are starting to leak in the press.
First is Ciaran Davies, who plays for Bridgend-based Tondu RFC and turned out 18 times for his side in 2023-24 as they finished runners-up in the third tier.
A source told The Sun: "Ciaran caught the eye of Love Island bosses immediately.
"He's gorgeous with a fit athletic build that will send the girls in the villa wild, but he's also a sweet boy next door from Wales to boot. He's the kind of lad you could happily take home to your mum."
The second rumoured contestant is Manchester-based Grace Jackson, who has previously modelled for Rihanna's lingerie brand and counts Conor McGregor, Molly-Mae Hague and Joey Essex among her 77,000 Instagram followers.
"Love Island producers are really excited about Grace," a source told the Daily Mail. "Not only is she beautiful but she's fun and looking to find her dream man, so will hopefully make the perfect contestant."
The new series of Love Island is expected to begin on Monday, June 3 with a launch show that will air simultaneously on ITV1 and ITV2.
