Channel 4 confirms the new schedule release pattern for Hollyoaks as it switches to three episodes a week.

Hollyoaks has confirmed its new release pattern as the soap gears up for the biggest change in its 29-year history.

The soap is switching from five episodes a week to three in a cost-cutting drive - and a major new one-year time jump storyline has been developed to usher in the new scheduling.

Starting next Monday, September 9, new episodes will be released on Channel 4 streaming every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 7am.

Episodes will continue to get a linear playout later each evening on E4 at 7pm.
