Jez Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) has been revealed to be a new serial killer on Hollyoaks and will cause devastation for the villagers in the months to come.
The character - twin brother of evil Patrick (also played by Sheffield) - arrived a year ago, joined by his mother Martha (Sherrie Hewson), and has formed a strong relationship with niece Sienna (Anna Passey), who has since been revealed to be his biological daughter.
In shock scenes that aired this week, however, Jez killed his own niece Dilly (Emma Johnsey-Smith) in order to stop her going to the police to grass up Sienna - and he later came clean to a distraught Sienna, who helped him dispose of the body.
According to The Sun, Dilly's murder will just mark the start of Jez's killing spree as more characters look set to meet their maker.
"Hollyoaks is known for its serial killers, but they've gone all out this time," a source told the newspaper.
"It's safe to say this bombshell reveal will see Jez unmasked as the most dangerous murderer to ever grace the village. He's going to make Silas look like Tom Cunningham.
"The storyline is set to run and run and it will soon become clear that he doesn't operate alone. He's had a lot of help hiding his disturbing hobby for years - and he hasn't been acting alone."
Hollyoaks continues Mondays to Wednesdays from 7am on Channel 4 streaming and at 7pm on E4.
