Kate Garraway to appear on Friday's Good Morning Britain

Kate Garraway will appear on Friday's Good Morning Britain to speak about her husband's ongoing battle with coronavirus.

Kate Garraway will make her first appearance on Good Morning Britain in more than two months tomorrow as her husband Derek Draper continues to fight for his life with coronavirus.

Draper has now been in intensive care for around nine weeks after contracting COVID-19 - an unusually long period of time for someone to be in critical care with the disease.

Garraway has been off the air during her husband's battle but GMB have now confirmed that she will appear on Friday's show for an interview at around 7am.

Speaking to Friday hosts Ranvir Singh and close friend Ben Shephard, the 53-year-old will discuss how she and her two young children have been coping during lockdown without Draper.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
