Music teacher Laura Thorn has been selected as the representative for Luxembourg at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
After an absence of 31 years, the nation made a return to the competition last year, finishing a respectable middle of the pack in 13th place with their entrant 'Fighter' by singer Tali.
Once again this year's Luxembourgish entry was selected by a televised contest, with 50% of the votes coming from the public and the other half from eight international juries, including Ireland, Spain and 2025 hosts Switzerland.
Thorn's song 'La poupée monte le son' came a close second among the public vote and romped home with an almost-perfect score from the juries to secure the victory.
Eurovision 2025 will be staged in Basel, with the two semi-finals being held on May 13 and 15, followed by the grand final on May 17.
