Will tells Bob that his clumsy come-on to Harriet during the stag was just drunken nonsense - and later, he serves the same line to Harriet. But it backfires and she's more convinced than ever that he still has feelings for her.

Faith Dingle bows out
Faith's health takes a bad turn, meaning that she's unable to go to the seaside as planned. She insists that everyone else still go, but Cain is determined to find a solution.

Faith is overwhelmed when she realises that the villagers have pulled out all the stops to bring the seaside to her. She's delighted at how perfect everything is - and when Diane makes a surprise appearance, it's the cherry on the cake.

Moira pleads with Faith to backtrack on her plan to end her own life, and while Faith insists it won't be happening any time soon, her guilty look makes it clear what she has planned. After saying veiled goodbyes, she heads to her bedroom, looks at the pictures from yesterday and prepares for the end.

Cain arrives and realises what Faith has done, but does his best to keep her comfortable until she takes her final breath. Faith's family and friends are left devastated by the news that she has died.

Charles warns Naomi not to confront Nicola about her complaint to the bishop, but when he spies his daughter outside Victoria Cottage he does his best to get her away before Nicola sees her.
