After Howie admits to Denise that they can't afford to get Kim counselling, Denise gives him £500 from her and Jack's joint account to pay for the sessions. Meanwhile, Kim is in a state of high anxiety as she awaits sentencing and is convinced that she will go to prison.

Elaine asks Anna and Gina to be bridesmaids at the wedding but they are unenthused. Having chatted about the situation with Kathy, Elaine decides to make everyone's lives easier and delays the wedding plans.

Ahead of the family conference Stacey and Martin worry about Lily, who complains of feeling unwell. Sonia checks her over and discovers that Lily has high blood pressure, deciding that the best thing for her will be to sign off school until after the birth.
