Coronation Street star Sam Aston has been confirmed as the latest addition to the Dancing On Ice lineup.
Earlier today ITV began revealing the identities of the 12 celebrities taking part in the competition in 2025, with Olympic legend Sir Steve Redgrave, reality star Ferne McCann and The Traitors runner-up Mollie Pearce the first three to be announced.
Now the fourth celeb has been named as Aston, 31, who has played Chesney Brown on the cobbles for the last 21 years and will now follow in the footsteps of co-stars Mollie Gallagher, Sally Dynevor and Andy Whyment on the ice rink.
"I'm nervous but excited to get going," he told This Morning today, adding: "It's going to be nice for the public to see me for me rather than Chesney!"
Aston is unlikely to take a significant on-screen break from Corrie while he takes part in the show, similarly to his colleague Claire Sweeney (Cassie Plummer) when she took part earlier this year.
