Sharon Osbourne's role on Celebrity Big Brother will reportedly be that of a guest housemate.

Sharon Osbourne will reportedly be introduced to Celebrity Big Brother several days in as a guest housemate.

The former The X Factor judge has supposedly signed a big-money deal to appear on the long-awaited new series of the iconic reality show in a move that is likely to see her reunited with old friend and fellow judge Louis Walsh.

According to The Sun, Osbourne's fee was too high to afford to have her for the entire run of the show and she will therefore enter the house in a guest capacity.

"Sharon is a guest housemate and won't be going in on launch night," a source told the newspaper. "Instead she will come in once the show has started and will be there for a few days.

"The fee she wanted was eye-watering and in the end they struck a deal which meant she would go in for a shorter run.

"It's worked out well for everyone as she will inject some drama when she finally walks through the doors."

Celebrity Big Brother begins Monday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
