American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has revealed that he is hopeful the show could start filming its 10th season "later this summer".
Filming of the new run, which is rumoured to have a beach or weather theme, was due to begin last month but was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As a result Murphy suggested that he could flip plans for the 10th and 11th seasons because the former requires a very specific form of weather.
In a post on Instagram on Monday, the showrunner revealed: "Does anyone know when we all get our paychecks for being on this season of American Horror Story?
"I'm so sorry. I'll be sending those out this week IF in the comments section you guess what the new season of American Horror Story is about (which we hope to start shooting later this summer). The winner takes it all."
Murphy recently revealed that he has been developing an American Horror Story spinoff show during the coronavirus lockdown.
